Actor-dancer Nora Fatehi continues to get rave reviews for her performance in the reboot version of the 1999 song Dilbar, which became the fastest song to reach 20 million views within 24 hours, on YouTube. As a result, the actor-dancer has reportedly hiked her fees.

"Nora is very happy with the kind of response her performance has received, and it has taken her to a different league of artists. And hence, she has raised her fees 35 to 40% for her upcoming projects," shares a source close to the actor-dancer.

The Moroccan-Canadian dancer, who recently expressed her desire to give belly dancing lessons to aspiring dancers, actively posts her videos on social media. This, too, has helped her reach a larger fan following.

"Nora also did a dance version of Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred's hit track Ghazali. This collaboration extended her the reach to even international audience. Considering these factors, it was only right that Nora steps up her game.

Makers can now show more faith in her work," adds the source.

When contacted to ascertain if she is actually increasing her remuneration, Nora confirmed the news by saying, "Yes, it's true."
