Ingredients :
  • 5 - Fresh whole tender bhindi/okra
  • 1 - Tomato, chopped
  • 1 - Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp - ginger, cut in thin slices
  • Vinegar


How to Make Maryland Bhindi :
  1. Cut the bhindi at both ends. Cook with a small amount of water until tender (about 6 minutes).
  2. Drain in a colander.
  3. Put them in a glass dish and pour over some vinegar.
  4. Marinate in refrigerator for 4 hours. Then drain.
  5. Arrange bhindi in a serving dish. Spread chopped tomato, onion and ginger.
  6. Put in microwave oven for 1 minute.
