Diwali, the Festival of Lights and the very important and popular Hindu festival has just concluded. The photoshopped image of India that was circulated year-after-year has finally been termed a fake and people have agreed that the picture must have been retouched and created for some different use. However, we finally have a real picture of India taken from Space on Diwali. The picture was taken by astronaut Paolo Nespoli finally reveals how India looks from Space on the night of Diwali. On October 19, 2017, the 60-year-old Italian astronaut shared a photo of India, taken from Space which shows the country glittering with lights. Sharing a photograph of India as seen from Space he wished everyone a happy Diwali and laid to rest the final debate on the previous ‘fake’ picture.
