David Warner
Warner played attacking cricket and notched up a ton in the first Test match in Brisbane. England lost the plot from there and the slide continued till the fifth Test in Sydney.

He also got a ton in Perth in the second innings which took the game, and the Ashes, away from England.

Michael Clarke
He got 113 in Brisbane and followed that up with 148 in Adelaide. By his high standards he failed to pass the score of 24 in the remaining seven innings but his captaincy was top-class. Clarke was aggressive in his tactics throughout the series.

Mitchell Johnson
He not only picked up 37 wickets in the Ashes series but he instilled fears in the minds of the English batsmen. His spell of 7/40 in Perth was one of the best ever bowled by an Aussie.
