114 vs South Africa at Cardiff
Dhawan hit his first ODI century against South Africa in India’s first game of the ICC Champions Trophy in Cardiff. Dhawan’s century – 114 off 95 deliveries ensured that India reached 331. India won the game by 26 runs.

102* vs West Indies at The Oval
This was the second game of the ICC Champions Trophy game where West Indies scored 233. Dhawan was the star again, scoring an unbeaten 102 off 107 deliveries as India chased down the target comfortably in the 40th over.

116 vs Zimbabwe at Harare
This was a fortuitous ton by the southpaw. He was dismissed off a no-ball from Kyle Jarvis. Dhawan was on 3. He was then let off by wicketkeeper Brendan Taylor on 14. Later on 70 he was dropped at square-leg. But Dhawan built the innings and ensured India reached a daunting 294 which proved to be too much for the hosts.

100 vs Australia at Nagpur
India were chasing 351 for a win in the sixth ODI at Nagpur. The hosts were trailing 2-1. A loss would have meant a series loss. Dhawan rose to the occasion and slammed a run-a-ball ton. His century provided India a solid platform in the run-chase. Virat Kohli’s 66-ball 115 was a fine finishing act as India levelled the series.

This was Dhawan’s fastest ODI ton so far. He reached the milestone off 73 balls. The knock ensured India’s series win over West Indies.

Shikhar Dhawan brought up his 5th ODI ton in his 28th innings - a world record.
