1. 107 v Sri Lanka, Eden Gardens, 2009

Kohli walked in at No.4 with India reeling at 23 for 2, chasing an imposing 316 at the Eden Garden against Sri Lanka. Kohli, alongwith Gautam Gambhir, played positively and put the visitors under pressure. The duo added 224 for the third wicket. Kohli scored 107 off 114 balls which included 11 fours and 1 six. This was Kohli's first ODI ton in his 14th game.



Gambhir remained unbeaten on 150, as India won by a comfortable margin of 7 wickets with 11 balls to spare.

2. 102* vs Bangladesh, Dhaka, 2010

Chasing 248 for a win, India raced off to a good start as opening combination of Dinesh Karthik and Gautam Gambhir added 64 before the former departed. Walking in at No.3, Kohli looked confident right from the outset. He looked in great touch and scored at will. He remained unbeaten on 102 off 95 balls (11 bundaries) and guided India to a six-wicket win with seven overs to spare.

3. 118 v Australia, Visakhapatnam, 2010

It was a challenging run-chase against Australia who had set India 290 for a win. India were 35 for 2 with Kohli in the middle. He added 137 for the third wicket with Yuvraj Singh and subsequently put 84 off 58 balls with Suresh Raina to put India in a commanding position.



Kohli's 118 came off 121 balls with 11 fours and one six. India won the game by five wickets with seven balls to spare.

4. 105 v New Zealand, Guwahati, 2010

This was Kohli's first ton batting first. He scored 105 off 104 on a track that was a bit on the slower side. His innings included 10 boundaries. India put up 276 and easily won the game by 40 runs.

5. 100* v Bangladesh, Dhaka, 2011

This was India's opening game of the World Cup. Virender Sehwag illuminated India's campaign with a dazzling 175. Virat Kohli gave a fine supporting act and helped himself to an unbeaten century (100 not out off 83 balls; 8 boundaries and two sixes) which helped India register 370 for 4.



Bangladesh couldn't keep up with the asking rate and lost the game by 87 runs.

6. 107 v England, Cardiff, 2011

This was a gruelling England series where Indian batsmen struggled to cope with the conditions. In the fifth ODI in Cardiff, Kohli - batting at No.4 looked at ease. Kohli added 170 for the third wicket with veteran Rahul Dravid (who was playing his last ODI).



Kohli was dismissed for 107 off 93 balls which gave a perfect launchpad for MS Dhoni to put India in a strong position with 304. India lost the gave by D/L method as England chased the revised target of 241 with ease.

7. 112* v England, Delhi, 2011

Chasing 238, India were 29 for 2 with Tim Bresnan picking up both the openers. Virat Kohli shifted the momentum of the game with his sublime touch and England were quizzical looking at his strokeplay.



India won the game in the 37th over as Kohli remained unbeaten on 112 off 98 balls which included 16 boundaries.

8. 117 v West Indies, Vishakhapatnam, 2011

West Indies were reeling at 170 for nine that's when the final wicket stand broke the spirits of the Indian team. The 10th wicket added 99 and put West Indies to an imposing 269.



Kohli, batting at 4, masterminded the run-chase and added 163 for the fourth wicket with Rohit Sharma. India won the game by five wickets.

9. 133* v Sri Lanka, Hobart, 2012

India needed 320 to win off 40 overs in order to keep their hopes of reaching the final of the tri-nation series alive. The task seemed monsterous but that's where Kohli stood up and played one of the best ODI innings by an Indian.



He smashed the Sri lankan bowling to all parts of the Bellerive Oval and made them look ordinary. Kohli's 133 came off 86 balls which included 16 fours and two sixes. India won the game in 36.4 overs.

10. 108 v Sri Lanka, Dhaka, 2012

This was India's first game of the Asia Cup 2012. India beat hosts Sri Lanka by 50 runs. India put 304 on the board with Gambhir (100) and Kohli (108) putting on 205 for the second wicket.



Kohli's 108 came off 120 deliveries which included seven fours.

11. 183 v Pakistan, Dhaka, 2012

This was one of the most breathtaking Kohli knocks. Against the arch rivals, India had their backs against the wall after they lost Gambhir in the first over in pursuit of 330. Kohli was composed and he was in total control of the run-chase.



After getting to his ton, Kohli shifted gears and helped India score a comfortable win. His 183 came off 148 balls which included 22 fours and one six.

12. 106 v Sri Lanka, Hambantota

Kohli's 106 at Hambantota helped India reach 314. He added 173 for the second wicket with Virender Sehwag who scored 96. India won the game by 21 runs.

13. 128* v Sri Lanka, Colombo, 2012

Chasing 252 India were in a spot of bother. When they lost Manoj Tiwary in the 24th over the score was 109 for four. With the ball spinning and Sri Lankan bowlers confident, Kohli took his time and got set. After that he just took the game away with his exhilarating strokeplay.



He remained unbeaten on 128 off 119 balls that included 12 fours and one six.

14. 102 v West Indies, Port of Spain, 2013

After losing the first two games of the tri-series competition it was a must-win game for India. Skipper Kohli led the way and stroked a brilliant 102. India won with a bonus point as West Indies collapsed chasing the target.

Kohli's ton against Zimbabwe was like a stroll in the park. His 115 helped India chase down the target of 229 in the 45th over. India won the game by six wickets.

16. 100* v Australia, Jaipur, 2013

Kohli scored the fastest century by an Indian (off 52 balls) in Jaipur. India chased 360 with ridiculous ease winning by 9 wickets. Kohli toyed with the Australian bowling and stunned them with his imposing shots.

Kohli scored 115 off 66 balls as India chased 351 easily. This win helped India level the series with Australia.

18. 123 v New Zealand, Napier, 2014

Kohli's 123 almost took India to a win but after the fall of his wicket the visitors lost the plot in Napier. India lost the first ODI by 24 runs.

19. 136 v Bangladesh, Fatullah, 2014

Virat Kohli's 136 helped India register a win in the first match of the Asia Cup against Bangladesh in Fatullah.
