Ingredients :
  • 1 cup - Rice
  • 1 cup - ripened and diced Tomatoes
  • 100 g - fresh Coconut
  • 8 to 10 - Red Chillies (for mild taste)
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • A few Coriander leaves




How to Make Special Tomato Dosa :
  1. Soak rice for two hours. Grind the rice to form a very fine paste.
  2. Grind rest of the ingredients with a little water and add to rice batter.
  3. Mix everything together and ferment for 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Chop coriander leaves and add to the batter.
  5. Heat the hotplate (tawa) and spread very little oil.
  6. Spread a thin layer of batter (preferably start from outside and spread towards the centre). Serve hot.
