Ingredients :
  • 200 g - paneer, grated
  • 50 g - cheese, grated
  • 10 g - peanuts, roasted and ground to a paste
  • 1 tsp - Mace (javitri) powder
  • 1 tsp - elaichi powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Clove powder
  • 20 g - garlic, dry-roasted until golden brown
  • 20 g - Onions rings, deep-fried until brown and crisp
  • 10 g - Khus Khus
  • 1/2 tsp - red-chilli powder
  • salt to taste


How to Make Cottage Cheese Kebabs :
  1. Grind the grated paneer and cheese to a fine paste. Mix with the elaichi, mace and clove powders, and with the peanut paste, browned garlic, browned onions and khus khus.
  2. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well.
  3. Set aside for an hour.
  4. Shape into round patties.
  5. Grill both sides evenly on a tawa until done, using as little oil as possible. Serve hot.
