It seems spending a lot of time discussing his character with director Milan Luthria was the only preparation actor Vidyut Jammwal needed to do for his role as an army officer in his next film, Baadshaho.

Vidyut says, "Milan had an idea of how he wanted this particular character to be. When I met him, he was so sure of what he wanted out of me. I spent a lot of time with him, and that was the only preparation I had."

The fact that the actor could relate to his character also helped him with the role. "I could relate to the fact that he is an army officer, who is disciplined, witty and quirky. The role is completely different [from what I have done so far]."

Vidyut, who worked with an ensemble cast for the first time in this film, is also glad that he got to work with Ajay Devgn.

"When you are working with one of the most brilliant action heroes in the country, you learn so much. He knows it all; he has seen it all, so the experience was great. Every memory [of the shoot] is special. I enjoyed working Ajay sir," he says.

The film was shot in a bunch of locales across Rajasthan, which Vidyut says gave him a chance to experience parts of the state.

"I had been to Rajasthan about 15 times, but, when you shoot in a city, you get to see its best parts. You shoot in great places and I saw a different side of Rajasthan," he says.
