Ingredients :
  • 1 floret Broccoli
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3/4 tsp Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp sambar powder or replace with Red Chilli powder
  • Salt as needed
  • To temper: 1 tsp oil
  • 3/4 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds


How to Make Brocooli stir fry :
  1. Cut broccoli into small bite size pieces as we do for cauliflower. I parboiled the broccoli (you can skip this step).
  2. Heat a pan with oil (I used olive oil) and temper with the items given under the `to temper section.
  3. Add ginger, onion and fry for a minute, add the sambar powder and salt and just give it a stir. Add the broccoli florets and mix well.
  4. Keep in low flame and cook covered for 3-5 minutes, without changing its crunchiness.
