Ingredients :
  • 225 gm - prawns, shelled fresh or frozen, cut into thin slices
  • 225 gm- cabbage, chopped coarsely
  • 225 gm- cauliflower, florets
  • 1 - carrot, diced
  • 225 gm- string beans, cut 3 parts
  • 1 - brinjal, cubed (small)
  • 3 cups - Coconut Milk
  • 1 tbsp- vegetable oil
  • 1 - onion, finely sliced
  • 1 clove- garlic, sliced finely
  • 1 tsp- Coriander leaves
  • 1 - red chilli, crushed
  • 1 - salam leaf
  • salt to taste


How to Make Curried Vegetables :
  1. Heat oil, add the chopped onions and saute for a while.
  2. Next add the sliced garlic and coriander and fry further.
  3. Add the sliced prawns, saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Then add the chilli, chopped cabbage, cauliflower florets, diced carrots, string beans, brinjals and salt.
  5. Cover the vessel with a lid and cook over a low flame for 10-15 mins.
  6. Lastly add the coconut milk and cook uncovered, stirring continuously.
  7. When the vegetables turn tender remove from heat and serve hot with rice.
