Ingredients :
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 300 ml. strong unsweetened Apple juice
  • 1 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 275 gms. Emmenthal cheese
  • 275 gms. Gruyere cheese
  • 1 tbsp. cornflour
  • 3 tbsp. Kirsch (distilled brandy)
  • Pinch of white pepper
  • Pinch of ground Nutmeg
  • Pinch of paprika


How to Make Yummy Cheese Fondue :
  1. Grate both the cheese. Rub the inside of a fondue pan with the cut clove of garlic.
  2. Pour the apple juice into the pan with the lemon juice and heat gently.
  3. Gradually add the cheese, stirring in a figure of eight motion until all the cheese is combined.
  4. When the mixture begins to bubble, blend the cornflour and kirsch together and add the fondue.
  5. Continue to cook gently for a further 2-3 minutes and season, according to taste with the pepper, nutmeg and paprika.
  6. To serve, use cubes of French bread.
