Ingredients :
  • Basmati Rice-1 cup
  • Jeera-1 tsp
  • Ginger-2 inch bit
  • Black Pepper Powder-1/2 tsp
  • Ghee-1 tsp
  • Oil-1 tsp
  • Water-1 & 1/2 cups
  • Salt-to taste
  • Coriander leaves-a few


How to Make Ginger Jeera Rice :
  1. Soak basmati rice in water for 15 minutes. In a pressure cooker, add oil, ghee, grated ginger, black pepper powder and jeera.
  2. Drain rice and add it to the cooker. Add salt and water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  3. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with dal.
