No matter how wise you become, no matter how much youíve grown up, the heart wants what it wants. And thereís little you can do to feel otherwise.
Loving comes easy, so does forgetting. Itís the thing in between, the transition from the former to the latter that wrings the heart the hardest. Moving on is the hardest. Accepting that someone you loved with all your heart, someone you chose to bare your soul to is now a stranger is the hardest. Living with the fact that itís over is the hardest.

You know you’ll get over it one day, you’ve been through this before. People you once loved with all your heart, people you thought you couldn’t live without are now just faint memories and blurred faces. And that’s the saddest thing. For the most beautiful fragments of your life to fade into nothingness. You don’t carry much of it with you. Every time someone leaves, they take with them, a piece of you. And leave behind a hollow you, a void you learn to unsee with time, but a void nonetheless.
